About our owner
Meet Brett Bumgarner
I grew up in central Iowa and spent a lot of my days on our family farm where I learned the value of hard work early on. That farm-like work ethic shaped everything I’ve done since. While attending Iowa State University, I worked for the largest new home builder in town and framed houses to pay my way through school. I earned my degree in Transportation Logistics and Business Management with emphasis in Entrepreneurship.

After college, I built a very successful career in operational leadership, where I learned how to lead people, streamline processes, and deliver results. From there, I advanced into project management and project management leadership, earning both my Lean Six Sigma certification and my PMP certification.

Today, I am recognized as a leader in the project management sector, overseeing multi-million-dollar warehouse automation and large-scale construction projects. My work brings together multiple trades, tight schedules, and complex technical requirements — and I thrive on guiding teams to deliver on time, on budget, and at the highest level of quality.

Alongside my corporate career, I’ve spent years investing in real estate — buying, renovating, and managing hundreds of properties. That hands-on experience with construction, trades, and property management gave me a deep appreciation for the home services industry and the people who keep our communities running.

TradePro Partners is the natural next step in that journey. My wife and I founded the company with a simple mission: to partner with owners of established home services businesses in Kansas City who are ready to transition, while ensuring their legacy, employees, and customers are well cared for.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my amazing wife and our four children. Together, we love bike rides, being outdoors, and traveling as a family. Beyond that, I stay active by exercising and playing ice hockey, and I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
